2013 – The new Renault Kangoo line-up – The new Renault Kangoo line-up: now even more purposeful
Renault, the European market’s number one LCV manufacturer, has renewed its Kangoo range for private motorists and business users. The model’s new front end features Renault’s new styling identity, although a certain number of detail differences distinguish between the passenger car, van and Z.E. versions.
New Kangoo’s robust stance mirrors the work that has been accomplished in the realm of perceived quality, while technology upgrades include the availability of the connected Renault R-Link multimedia system.
Business customers can now benefit from three front seats for each one of the different length options, and Kangoo Compact is the only van with a capacity of less than 2.8m3 to be available with this arrangement. Two new leisure activity vehicle versions have also been introduced, namely Kangoo Extrem, which sports an adventurer look, and Kangoo Business which is ideally suited to intensive fleet use.
In addition to the all-electric Z.E. version which emits no emissions during road use, the Renault Kangoo range features a comprehensive selection of energy-efficient engines, including three which top their class in terms of low fuel consumption, starting from 4.3 litres/100km.
New Kangoo is the most economical vehicle in its segment.
In addition to the all-electric version which is emissions-free at point of use, the model is available with a range of engines that are strong on performance and economical on fuel: three of these engines are Energy units which post record efficiency in their respective classes:
– Energy dCi 75 and 90: 4.3 litres/100km1 and 112g of CO2/km1.
– Energy dCi 110 : 4.4 litres/100km1 and 115g of CO2/km1
– Energy TCe 115: 140g of CO2/km (available from September 2013, emissions performance pending homologation).
Energy engines incorporate Stop&Start and a deceleration energy recovery system
