Sebastian Vettel stormed to his third consecutive pole position in qualifying for tomorrow’s Korean Grand Prix
The Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver ultimately needed just one lap of the South Korean track to secure his sixth pole of the year and his second at the Korean International Circuit. With the pole he also took Renault’s total of pole positions in F1 to 208, equaling the overall record held by Ferrari.
Lotus F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean had a strong run to fourth on the grid, however Kimi Raikkonen could only manage 10th for the race.
Both Williams F1 Team cars were eliminated in Q1, along with the Caterham F1 Team duo of Charles Pic and Giedo van der Garde. The quartet line up nose-to-tail with Valtteri Bottas 17th, Pastor Maldonado 18th, Charles Pic 19th and Giedo van der Garde 20th.
