Dacia reaches threshold of 600,000 sales in France
Dacia: a French success story
First launched in France in June 2005 when Logan was released, the Dacia brand has gradually helped to change the landscape of the French automotive industry by proposing a new way to go motoring.
Dacia offers a streamlined range of vehicles, which initially targeted used-car owners, featuring an unbeatable value in terms of their cabin space and equipment specification.
In just nine years, Dacia has carved a spot for itself in the French market, rising to fifth position in 2013 despite the fact that it caters almost exclusively to individual car buyers.
Its popularity has not waned since: as of the end of April 2014, Dacia ranked fourth in year-to-date sales to individuals in France. Sandero is the best-selling car to retail customers in the country.
