Are You Ready For A 2018 Plate Car?

How many 2018 plate cars have you seen floating about already? All of the sudden our roads seem to be full of them, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Some of the new 2018 cars are some of the best we’ve seen yet. We’re seeing better technology, more MPG, and sleeker looking designs that are drawing people in. The only downside to a new 2018 plate car being the price, and the fact you’d have to pay through the nose just to put the car on the road with tax. But don’t let that put you off, there’s many reasons why you should be ready to get a 2018 plate car, have a read on to find out more.

Technological Improvements

There has been so many new technological improvements to the 2018 cars that it is hard to count. It is part of the reason why they’re just so expensive to buy. If you were struggling with the price, you could always have a no credit check car finance that will allow you to have the funds to potentially buy your dream car. Now, we want to talk about a technological advancement that is providing safety to the driver. You can now get cars that notify you of a lane collision. This means that if you’re starting to veer over into another lane, or if someone is doing so to you, your car will notify you so you can quickly correct it. It’ll also notify you if you’re trying to move lanes and you haven’t noticed a car is coming. The amount of crashes this could solve will be amazing. There’s also the safety feature of automatic braking in a few of the new cars. This one has been met with a bit of controversy as it can be said that technology does fail, and if the automatic brakes do not work and the driver isn’t ready for it, then you’re going to have a problem on your hands.

Design Improvements

Some of the cars that are being produced right now just look absolutely amazing. Their design is so sleek and smooth, they’re just so pretty to look at. Don’t get us wrong, there has also been some absolutely terrible designs so far this year with the cars just looking too blocky. But in the most cases, design has been on point, and the inside of cars in particular is improving year on year. We’re seeing smaller cars with more space inside, and boot space, and the layout just being much better in general. As for the outside of the car, we’re seeing design improvements that are allowing the car to be more economical, and there’s little luxury improvements for those who like the finer things in life. For example, the new Range Rover Velar has door handles that fold in and out, as well as door mirrors. So once everyone is inside the car, the door handles will disappear inside the car. Once a button is pressed on the key, they’ll reappear again meaning a wanted passenger can get in. This is just a little design addition they’re using to promote safety, as well as to make them look extremely cool.

The F-TYPE Coupe visual message is defined by three key ‘heart lines’, that visual message beginning with the formidable grille. It is from the twin ‘shark gill’ openings that sit either side of the grille that the essential first heart line – which mirrors the design of the F-TYPE Convertible – flows and begins to take shape. Running up through the headlamp, and accentuated by the LED ‘J blade’ signature running lamps, the line then arcs up over the front wheel arch before dropping elegantly as it runs through the door, washing out into the muscular rear haunch.

The second heart line begins at the rear edge of the door, swelling outwards and upwards to create a visually strong wheel arch, emphasizing the car’s rear-wheel drive layout, before dropping vertically through the tail lamp ...
