See the new models and concept cars shown off at the 2014 Paris Motor Show
The Paris Motor Show 2014 kicked off on 2 October, and within hours we had floods of news, pictures and information direct from the show. We were expecting countless new car debuts, and a first look at some of 2015’s hottest cars – and we weren’t disappointed, as the wraps came off everything from the Jaguar XE and Mercedes AMG GT, to the new Volvo XC90 and facelifted Honda CR-V.

The Jaguar C-X75 Prototype
For over two years Jaguar has worked to develop one of the most innovative and technologically advanced prototypes ever created. The C-X75 pushes every boundary of power, performance and even fuel efficiency. This short film details the journey to this point and gives an exciting insight into the technology which has the potential to be used in future Jaguar models.
After rather failing to take the world by storm with its Ridley Scott-produced online film starring Damon Lewis, Jaguar is turning to good old 30-second spots to launch its new F-Type sports car in the US.
The new Jaguar F-Type
The Jaguar F-Type is a two-seat sports car, based on a shortened platform of the XK convertible, that will be manufactured by Jaguar Cars in 2013.
The F-Type was developed under the project code “X152”. The car has been designed to compete with roadsters such as the Porsche Boxster, BMW Z4, and Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class. A similarly sized concept car, the C-X16, was shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011.
The car was launched initially as a soft-top convertible. There has been various speculation, prior to the launch, of a coupé, a plug-in hybrid-electric,[8] and an all-wheel drive version.
Jaguar Heritage Racing – The Technical Story
Jaguar Cars has a rich and long history, from the humble origins of the Swallow Sidecar company in 1922 through to the successful multi-national company of today. In 2010, Jaguar celebrated its 75th anniversary.
With Jaguar’s Test Centre based at the ever-challenging Nürburgring Nordschleife, Jaguar Racing Heritage took to the world famous track to celebrate its sporting legacy and the technical story of Jaguar that has helped shape the driving experience of the modern era.
