A Fun Post: Why Santa Has A Sleigh

It’s that time of the year when homes are covered in glitter garlands and LED reindeers frolic in the front yard. Truck drivers working during the festive season tend to decorate their cabins with all sorts of Christmas items. You can even find some drivers who manage to fit a sizable Christmas tree at the front of the truck! In town centers, stores decorate their windows with trees, huge wrapped presents, and the traditional Christmas sleigh. For young children, it is the most exciting time of the year. However, for parents, it can be a tricky period, especially if your kids are prone to asking difficult questions. If you’re tired of trying to convince them that Santa exists, here’s the perfect tip to make Santa’s sleigh real. Compare it to delivery vehicles.

Because he’d have serious battery costs

When you explain that Santa only uses his sleigh once a year, you can make it clear that it wouldn’t work if Santa had a truck. Vehicles that stay idle for too long can lose their battery charge. Ultimately, it wouldn’t be cost-effective for Santa to change his truck batteries every year. Therefore, the sleigh is a better option. It isn’t battery-powered, and therefore doesn’t need to be driven to maintain its charge!

Because it’s an endurance race for one night

How many miles does Santa need to drive in a night? It’s a good math exercise to give your kids if you want some peace. Once they’ve come up with a solution, you can talk to them about endurance car races. An endurance car race is a challenge to cover a long distance with as few breaks as possible. The first endurance car race was held in 1894 and covered only 126 km. Yet, only 17 vehicles managed to reach the final destination on time. Admittedly cars are faster and more performant nowadays, but they’re unlikely to compete against Santa’s magical sleigh.

Because it’s got infinite storage space

How much can you fit in your trunk? Most households struggle to fit all their Christmas shopping inside the car trunk.

With some clever organization tricks, you can add drawers and a set of car-friendly shelves to fit more items inside the trunk, but space can rapidly feel tight. Small children can struggle with spatial visualization, so it’s a good idea to demonstrate how much fits in your car boot. They’ll soon come to realize that Santa would need a bitter trunk to carry all the presents all around the world! And there you have your winning blow: Santa’s sleigh has infinite storage space! It wouldn’t be possible otherwise.

Because it never gets any parking ticket

Your kids are probably familiar with the difficulties of finding a parking space in town. You can use the knowledge to ask them how they think that Santa manages to park his vehicle at night without any problem. Some narrow streets are barely accessible by car, and they have double yellow lines on each side. It would be impossible to park a standard vehicle. That’s why the sleigh is the only thing that Santa can use to make deliveries on time!

No parent wants to destroy their child’s dream of meeting Santa. However, we have to be realistic. Kids are bright and curious about the world. They are continually asking to know how things happen. So, if you’re going to preserve their faith in Santa for a little longer, you can rely on your car knowledge!

The F-TYPE Coupe visual message is defined by three key ‘heart lines’, that visual message beginning with the formidable grille. It is from the twin ‘shark gill’ openings that sit either side of the grille that the essential first heart line – which mirrors the design of the F-TYPE Convertible – flows and begins to take shape. Running up through the headlamp, and accentuated by the LED ‘J blade’ signature running lamps, the line then arcs up over the front wheel arch before dropping elegantly as it runs through the door, washing out into the muscular rear haunch.

The second heart line begins at the rear edge of the door, swelling outwards and upwards to create a visually strong wheel arch, emphasizing the car’s rear-wheel drive layout, before dropping vertically through the tail lamp ...
