Seat officially unveils the 2013 Leon Sports Coupe
Expert design and engineering run right at the heart of the New SEAT Leon SC, which means driving it is nothing short of pure pleasure. The New SEAT Leon SC is a three door hatchback that provides the perfect blend between sharp, sporty lines and fluid curves. It has a shorter wheelbase, giving it a new level of agility. So even if you’re traveling with a full load this Sports Coupé will make light work of the corners ahead. Rest assured, when you get behind the wheel you’re experiencing truly dynamic driving. SC stands for Sports Coupe, main features including a revised appearance and modified dimensions. The new model is 4,23 meters long and rides a shorter wheelbase of 2,6 meters.
But driving pleasure doesn’t have to stop there. The New SEAT Leon SC comes loaded with the latest technology inside and out, from EasyConnect to Full LED lights. It’s the little things in life that make you want to drive it every day.
With sharp angles merging with fluid curves and flowing lines, this really does bridge the gap between an artistic masterpiece and revolutionary design. A lightweight, streamlined frame gives this hatchback a presence on the road like no other. And by tweaking the response of the steering and suspension, it also ensures one of the most agile and precise driving experiences on the road.
Link up your iPod, SD-card, Bluetooth® and CDs to the 10-speaker sound system and enhance the rhythm of life by letting the full, rich beats travel effortlessly through the cabin. With a colour touch screen that reacts before you even touch the screen, thanks to EasyConnect, the power really is right at your fingertips.
Taking on all the twists and turns of the open road has never been so exciting thanks to the ultra-responsive shift gears. With this dual clutch manual gearbox, your hands can stay firmly on the wheel, giving you complete control, without any distractions.
The advanced Drive Assist systems help you avoid accidents by ingeniously reacting when you are distracted. Tiredness Assist monitors your driving behaviour and, if there is any sign of fatigue, sends an alert suggesting you take a break. Lane Assist senses when you drift into another lane and gently corrects your course. And High Beam Assist automatically dips your high beams if oncoming traffic is detected, reducing the dazzling effect bright lights can have. A retuned suspension with MacPherson struts and torsion beam is also available on the new Seat Leon SC. For now, the Spanish company released no pricing or availability details but claims that a more potent ST estate variant will debut next year.
A feature we hope you’ll never need to use, but in the event of a collision, this electronic stability system will automatically break the car to help prevent any further impact, damage or injury.
