Hundreds of Rolls Royce##Q##s ever marched during the 100th birth anniversary of the Flying Lady
The owners of the best known brands of luxury cars have celebrated a century of Rolls Royce emblem.
100 beauty, brand new or ten years back, they went to a parade through the streets of London. “Flying Lady”, which dominates the Cowls all Rolls-sized, has a special story.
In 1904 when Charles Rolls and Henry Royce founded the mark, the statue does not exist. It comes from the desire of Lord Montagu of Beaulieu, owner of a magazine about cars early, to create a mascot for the 1909 edition of the Silver Ghost. At its base is Eleanor Thornton, secretary and Montagu##Q##s secret lover.
